If you experience any of the following symptoms, contact our office immediately: Dusky or white discoloration of the injected areas, mottling or unusual bruising, severe or increasing pain, redness, increasing warmth or coolness to touch, or severe swelling.

Schedule your injection at a time when minor swelling or bruising will not disrupt your social obligations. HLA-based dermal fillers are absorbed by the body naturally over time.
You should wait to eat until the numbing agent has worn off after having lip augmentation. Also, avoid foods that are difficult to eat for 24 hours to avoid wiping the lips so soon after injection.
Results last anywhere from six months to 2 years. You will need periodic touch-up treatments to maintain plump, natural-looking results.
