I had an excellent experience of getting facial PRP done ( for the first time !!) with Dr. Shaden Mohammad. She explained to me every step of the procedure and made sure my comfort was addressed.Her new place is wonderful with state of the art equipment. I could see instant results especially in my problem under eyes/ dark circles.

I went to Luminous spa for a micro-needling treatment on my face. The care and in depth explanation as to what the treatment is and what results should be expected were very clear. I felt comfortable from beginning to end. The procedure was close to being painless and I’m so pleased with the results. My skin feels tighter and my face looks fresh and clear. I can’t wait to visit this spa for more treatments. The space is also very beautiful which makes the experience so pleasant.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mohammed today. I had my first of 3 visits for laser resurfacing to correct years of sun damage. I felt very reassured during the treatment knowing Dr. Mohammed was performing the procedure. She walked me through what to expect before each aspect of the treatment, provided numbing cream on my face and neck, stopped regularly to see how I was feeling, and if I was experiencing any pain - I didn't at all.

Afterward she gave me clear instructions on how to keep my skin clean, moisturized, and what I should and shouldn't do the next few days.

Dr. Mohammed spent time with me before and after to make sure I understood the treatment, the downtime, and how to protect my skin so I have the best results and I'm ready for the next visit. I can't say enough about Dr. Mohammed. She's incredibly knowledgeable, and she has a very calming presence. I'm grateful to have her expertise guiding the treatment.

Dr. Shaden is an absolute gem among providers with the type of integrity that is very difficult to find in the aesthetics industry. Especially in LA.

I came to her office somewhat hopeless about my situation. Over the years, the accumulation of poorly placed fillers had slowly distorted my features. Other providers would tell me that what I was seeing was normal aging and that the solution was actually to add more filler, making the issue worse and worse.

Dr. Shaden was able to use ultrasound imaging of my facial tissue to confirm what I had known deep down all along: there were pockets of filler throughout my face swelling up and causing lymphatic blockage and distortion.

Although I have read horror stories about dissolvers going wrong, I felt absolutely no hesitation dissolving the product with Dr Shaden, who was exceptionally knowledgeable. The ultrasound imaging is a game changer, and allows the filler to be precisely targeted while avoiding the surrounding tissue.

I have attempted dissolving treatment with another provider in the past and I can say their technique does not even come close to Dr Shaden, who was able to detect and dissolve problematic pockets of filler that the other provider had left behind.

Only one day after dissolving, I already feel I look so much prettier, younger, and alive. Even though I have some slight bruising, a complete stranger complimented me on my skin and told me I was glowing! To anyone nervous about dissolving their filler, you have nothing to worry about with Dr Shaden. I promise you will be happy you did!

Dr. Shaden is an angel. I’m dealing with a complicated issue and have been going to other clinics before Luminous that also have ultrasound guidance as well that could not fully resolve the issue. I was losing hope. I was frustrated, depressed and on the brink of losing my mind. Dr. Shaden is exceptionally skillful with the Ultrasound guidance and her expertise is like night and day compared to other clinics and she is overall very knowledgeable. She took her time and worked on me. She never rushed through and was very meticulous. I have been going to Luminous for a couple years now and this review is long overdue! Other than being experts of their field, the team is so kind and welcoming. The services I have had here are underarm laser hair removal, microneedling, and a golden facial. My confidence has improved so much since getting underarm hair removed, there is so little hair and darkness now and the sessions are so quick with minimal pain, Dr. Shaden is the best! Honestly I was pretty scared to get microneedling done but I had gotten an injury on my face that wasn’t healing right and many people told me to give it a try. The team is so genuinely friendly and kept me engaged and I lovedddd my results!! Then my wedding was coming up and I had wanted to try getting a facial, I was again nervous because I hadn’t really had one before but I’m sooo glad I did. Aya did an amazing job about 5 days before my wedding weekend, and my skin was truly glowing, it had never looked better. I will be getting facials done here for all my major events! The team is also very responsive over text and checked in on me after microneedling and the facial, which I greatly appreciated. The office is clean and they work with me when I need to reschedule, which is a big plus for me because my schedule sometimes changes during the week. I got the Golden Hour Facial with Aya and as a man who isn’t regular with facials I now understand what I have been missing. Aya was really thorough and knowledgeable about all the products she used and would give me explanations which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be back to try her Pore perfection treatment that’s targeted towards acne. Sparkling clean office with warm staff and parking was easy.

I’m so happy to have found this amazing med spa. I had my spider veins lasered and they are almost completely gone after just one session! I also had microneedling with exosomes and the whole staff made me feel completely at ease during the procedure. Not to mention that Dr. Shaden is a total gem. I really appreciate her honesty when explaining different treatments and their benefits and the fact that she doesn’t try to upsell you like other places. I’m looking forward to coming back for all my beauty needs :)

I second everything everyone has said so far. Unbelievably professional and precise, amazing results. The doctor has the best bedside manner. I felt like I was in the best hands. With filler removal you don’t want to mess around. Have confidence you are doing it right and go to Luminous. I wish I would have done this sooner. Everything was top notch and expertly done.

Dr. Shaden is the real deal. I had a very small amount of filler placed in the tip of my nose after a dent formed there from a prior steroid injection. However, most likely due to my autoimmune condition, my body was not accepting the filler. For months my nose was swollen, irritated, and the skin was tight. I went to two different practices before I found Dr. Shaden and neither of those practices were able to successfully dissolve the filler. In fact, one of them made the swelling even worse. During my appointment with Dr. Shaden, I immediately felt seen and heard. She listened to all of my concerns and was extremely understanding, compassionate, and competent. Our appointment was also very educational, as she provided in-depth explanations and walked me through the entire process, step by step. Additionally, she spent nearly two hours examining my nose under ultrasound and using the imaging to help guide the dissolving process. I am finally seeing results and I can tell we dissolved a good chunk of the filler. Ever since, I've experienced way less swelling and irritation around my nose. I'm looking forward to continuing to dissolve any residual filler with Dr. Shaden and finally getting back to my baseline nose. For others out there who are looking to dissolve their fillers or who may have had previous failed dissolving attempts, I would strongly encourage you to reach out to Dr. Shaden. Dr. Shaden Mohammad is truly an expert in ultrasound-guided filler dissolving and a blessing to me. I’m so thankful she gave me my face back. After an ongoing and stressful experience with misplaced filler from another doctor, she took two hours of her time to dissolve the filler using her ultrasound at the same time. I tried having it dissolved previously by another injector but it just caused excessive swelling, and failed to dissolve the filler. This procedure was gentle, effective, and incredibly precise. And she was very comforting the whole time. After the procedure, I looked in the mirror on the drive home and finally recognized myself again. Dr. Shaden is the only person I’d trust for filler correction from now on. Highly recommend!

Dr. Shaden is truly so wonderful at helping people. I was terrified I would never find someone who I felt comfortable enough with to start dissolving my fillers. After doing a ton of research on dissolving, I traveled from Philadelphia to go see her and I am very happy that I did. I was having pain and swelling from my midface, cheek and tear trough fillers and she was extremely thorough in listening to my concerns and working through a solution with me. She is very meticulous and comes across as professional as well as compassionate with a genuine heart. She is very detailed in getting a comprehensive history as well as taking all the time needed to answer any questions and she never makes you feel unimportant or rushed. We did multiple rounds of the dissolving utilizing the ultrasound to ensure the filler was preciously targeted. I was scared of blindly dissolving and would choose this method again as dissolving filler is not as easy as some practitioners make it seem. I would not take the risk of dissolving with just anyone and would highly recommend her to anyone having filler complications. She has stayed in contact with me and is making sure I’m healing up well along the way which to me provides a level of personalized care that is extremely trustworthy and rare in the medical or cosmetic industry. Going through this has been so stressful and Dr. Shaden does her very best to make the experience as comfortable as possible. From my experience if you’re going through something as important as dealing with your face I would go to someone who actually has humility and makes you feel comfortable as well as having the skill of dissolving fillers often. She helped me greatly and I am so appreciative of her, I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Shaden was amazing!! There is not a provider in my area, Reno, Nevada, that dissolves filler under ultrasound. I knew the vial of hylenex my injector put under my eyes only got a small portion of the under eye filler. Lumps persisted. I was very unhappy. Then after much research, I was elated to finally find someone who would truly help get rid of the unwanted filler under my eyes. Dr. Shaden was fabulous. She is knowledgeable, kind, caring, and compassionate about what she does. She made me feel comfortable, educated me throughout the process, and she continued to check on me. I do not see any more weird bluish tint colors or lumps under my eyes. A big thank you to her and her team. They are wonderful! I definitely recommend her.

I have so much to say, but I’ll start with this:

If you’ve ever had filler and been told “it’ll dissolve on its own in a few years” or you’ve gone through dissolving sessions where the injector insisted “there’s nothing left” but deep down you still feel something isn’t right, trust yourself.

I was in that exact place. I had filler injected into my nose to correct indentations from prior steroid injections after a revision rhinoplasty. Multiple surgeons, doctors, and nurses told me there was no way filler could still be present. But I couldn’t get myself to believe it. I could still see tiny irregularities that had never gone back to normal, and I could feel a fullness in areas that absolutely weren’t there before.

The breakthrough came when I found Dr. Shaden. She comes from a radiology background and uses a proper ultrasound machine, not the smaller Bluetooth devices some providers use, to actually see what’s going on. For the first time in years, I had confirmation: there was, in fact, still filler in my nose.

The relief that gave me is beyond words. After so many dissolving sessions, so much second-guessing, and feeling alone in my journey, finally having answers has been life-changing.

Dr. Shaden is incredibly thorough, patient, and kind, and she took the time to explain everything to me clearly. For the first time in this entire process, I felt truly understood and cared for.I am beyond grateful that I trusted my instincts and found her. If you are in a similar situation, don’t give up on yourself. There really are providers out there like Dr. Shaden who have the right background, the right technology, and the compassion to actually help.

My hope is that in the future providers like Dr. Shaden are available all over the world, because this should be the only standard for dissolving. Everything else is a hit or miss and does not guarantee a full dissolve. I will only ever get dissolved this way for the rest of my life.

If you suspect your filler is causing your face to look lumpy, bumpy, puffy, chipmunky when you smile, can’t feel your cheekbones, and you have festoons that somehow appeared after you had filler read this!! I had all the above and more. I always suspected it was from filler but was told for 15 years that it’s just aging because filler dissolves over time and or I was never injected where I’m complaining about. It’s a LIE!! All of it. I even consulted with a plastic surgeon for a face lift. I’m 45. Luckily I went down a rabbit hole, probably like you, and found Dr. Shaden!! I have now spent about 5hrs in total dissolving filler all over my face, and in places I never was injected! It’s terrifying to see what filler actually does. You can literally see it hidden in lil pockets on the imaging. It seeps everywhere! And it’s beyond satisfying and fascinating to see Dr. Shaden meticulously insert the needle and dissolve it. You feel the pressure and release as your REAL self is being uncovered. I’m beyond grateful, and appreciative for Dr. Shaden. My face looks AMAZING! I no longer want nor need a facelift. I will never let anyone inject anything into my face ever again other than Dr. Shaden. Honestly it should be a requirement for anyone injecting. You will not regret your appointment, you will only regret not going to her sooner. She’s my new favorite person, as well as her assistant. They make the entire experience even better!
